My story

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Lauren, but you can call me Lo. I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I started shuffling around on skis with my family, both alpine and Nordic, as soon as I could walk. The first time I put a ski bib on was at the age of 5, and I never looked back! Following in my sisters' footsteps, I joined the Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team (BNJRT), and I found myself up at Eldora every day after school, falling in love with nordic skiing. Other than skiing, I spent my days at Boulder High School, where I ran cross-country and track during the off-season. After graduating from high school, I moved east to pursue skiing at a higher level in a post-graduate year at Stratton Mountain School (SMS). In 2017, I matriculated at Dartmouth College, where I became a three-time All-American and the captain my senior year. My five years out East flew by, and after I graduated in 2020, I moved to Bozeman to continue ski racing. For two years, I raced for the Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team under the guidance of Andy Newell. However, I couldn't quite stay away from the East, and as of June 2022, I moved back to Stratton, Vermont, where I raced for the SMS T2 Elite Team for three years. I now live and train in Mont Sainte-Anne, Quebec, with my Canadian partner, Antoine Cyr.
